Hoover CARES Volunteer Business Advisors Coalition Offers Help

The City of Hoover has established a program to pair affected Hoover businesses with business volunteers during the COVID-19 crisis.  Forms are available on the City’s website for 1) volunteers with business expertise to register to help, and 2) affected businesses to register for assistance.

If you applied for the SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan before they were offering the advance (March 29), you must reapply through https://lnkd.in/dmZhwdj.  Per the ASBDC, if you applied through this link and did not check the box that you wanted the "up to $10,000" advance and have since decided that you do, you should go back and apply again.

ALTogetherAlabama Website Established

ALtogether is a website where Alabamians can ask for help or lend a hand during the COVID-19 crisis. This response effort is designed to connect businesses, nonprofits, and people that need help with the right program partners.  ALtogether is also an effort to provide policymakers, businesses, foundations, and the public with (1) information about how the crisis is impacting Alabamians and (2) opportunities to offer assistance to Alabama business owners and workers.

Alabama Attorney General Hotline Established

Attorney General Steve Marshall announces the establishment of coronavirus response teams to answer official and public questions about compliance and enforcement of the State Health Order.  Please call 1-800-232-8520 to be directed to the appropriate team.
