Members of the
Hoover Historical Society are dedicated to promoting an increased knowledge of the conditions, lifestyles, and people who founded the city.
Its most ambitious - and highly successful - educational project to date has been the relocation, restoration, and furnishing of the Stinson Ole Place, an authentic 1840s log home on the campus of Bluff Park Elementary School.
The public is invited to join the society in its workshops, coffees, field trips, and other activities.
